Its shaped brim and nylon panels protect the face and eyes from the sun, and its low profile fits nicely under a helmet for alpine climbing and ski touring. And weighing only 2.5 ounces, it's ideal for the ounce-counting backpacker and thru-hiker. The dark fabric under the brim helps reduce glare, while mesh panels ensure superior breathability.
